Ashton is my cousin, but we have had an invisible umbilical cord keeping us together amidst great distances and time between visits. She has been my best friend literally since the day I was born. I fell in love and married my high school sweetheart, and she stood by me on that day. Now, she is marrying her brother's best friend. A very mature, sweet, tender man who will love her the way I believe she should be loved, the way she deserves to be loved.
Her love of all things vintage was the inspiration for this photo shoot. Big thanks to my friends Emily and Julie for donating a few of the props!
I should mention that my husband (along with a few others) went in to buy me a brand new, amazing lens! Canon L Series 24-70mm f/2.8.... ahhh....
Bare feet and kisses,
HK

Hayley + Garman | Engagement | 12.03.11
They met at a bar when Garman was working as a bartender. They went on a date and, well, the rest is history! 7 years later, Hayley and Garman are very much in love and planning a destination wedding for the fall of 2012.
Photographing them was a BREEZE! Their familiarity with each other, sense of humor, and willingness to have fun made for a perfect photo shoot :) Not to mention, the lighting was impeccable! It was a cloudy, but bright day with no harsh sun. The threat of rain rolled in during the last 30 minutes of the shoot, so we high-tailed it to our last destination and beat out the drizzle! I had such a blast photographing these two love birds :)
Grass on my shoes,
