It's still hitting the mid-70s, low-80s here in Houston. Please note the date on this post. November 20, 2011. Yes. November 20th. The time of year when it should be in the high 40s, low 50s. Oh, Houston.
But, despite the heat of the Fall, we still crave Fall foods. We just enjoy them in our shorts and tank tops with the AC on and a glass of iced tea rather than bundled in our scarfs on the couch with a blanket and hot tea :)
This recipe came from a blog I follow, Picky Palate. I didn't change a thing! So hop on over to her blog and make this soup--soon. Especially if you live in a state where Fall is actually its own season.
