I can't believe it has been exactly ONE MONTH since my last post! Not good. October was a HECTIC month of school for me. My life consisted of non stop, go go go, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every single day for that entire month. I was pooped, but now I am revived! I am so glad to finally have the time of day to sit down and write this post! This will be just a brief overview of the last month, as I don't wish to overwhelm anyone.
So, what has been happening outside the realm of school? Well, we had a birthday party for Scott with our friends...
Celebrated Jim and Scott's birthdays back in Belton....
Jim got ENGAGED!!!....
We shot my grandfather's crossbow with the family.....
Yup! That would be my grandmother!
Jim shot the target!!!...
Celebrated all Key Family birthdays in Belton the next weekend....
Had a surprise birthday party for our friend, K, the weekend after that....
WOW, that's a lot of birthdays!!
Had a lingerie shower for my dear friend, M....
Went camping in Big Thicket (one of few National Forests in the USA)....
And had a nice visit from our sweet friends, J and A this past weekend.....
We made lots of good memories over the last 4 weeks. We spent lots of time with family and friends on the weekends, which was a nice break for Scott and I after hectic work weeks. Scott continues to amaze me with his willingness to cook most nights and give me back rubs. He is truly the greatest :-)
Speaking of Scott, today marks our 8 years of being together anniversary! (Not 8 years of marriage, mind you...) Yes, we started dating in high school when he was barely 16 and I was 15, soon to be 16. We were immature and naive back then, but we have since grown up (somewhat ;-) ) and have a wonderful marriage together. He was my best friend then, and is my best friend now. May the memories continue to form, the love ever grow, and the laughter never cease! I love you, Scott :-)

Yay for the new blog entry :) Sounds like you are birthday partied out! It's always fun to reunite with friends and family. I can't wait to see you soon! :)
So glad October has passed! You need a break, Han! And WHAT... Jim is engaged! Congrats to the little brother who is not very young but seems to young to be getting married in my mind. :) Crazy how fast time goes huh? Love you friend. I'm finally feeling better, and will be answering your email soon.
